BlueChoice HealthPlan Sets 10th Annual Conference for Women February 14, 2011
Columbia, S.C. – BlueChoice® HealthPlan of South Carolina’s 10th annual Women’s Health Conference, scheduled for February 26, will tackle a variety of topics for women at varying stages of life.
The agenda includes local experts who will address:
Menopause: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Understanding Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Coping with Addictions Within Families
Women’s Health and Nutrition
A Breast Cancer Survivor Testimony
Scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Medallion Center, 7309 Garner’s Ferry Road, Columbia, the event also includes a healthy breakfast buffet, and participants will receive goodie bags and free chair massages and can visit vendors.
“This event has attracted hundreds of participants over the years,” said BlueChoice HealthPlan President Mary Mazzola Spivey. “Each year, our members and their guests tell us they learn so much about the latest in women’s health issues.”
