Spartanburg Colon Cancer Survivor To Throw First Pitch at Drive Game Karry Guillory had no family history of colon cancer and no symptoms, so he got a colonscopy just because his wife urged him to. But his doctor found cancer, and Guillory needed surgery. A year later he is cancer-free and on a mission to urge others to have colon cancer screenings. Guillory will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on June 24 as the Greenville Drive hold their special “Drive Out Colon Cancer” game, sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.
