Columbia, S.C. – Winners of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina’s LifeLifeBlueSM photo contest this month will receive a gift basket that includes a guidebook and two tickets for daytime admission to the Biltmore House and gardens in Asheville, N.C.
LiveLifeBlue is a Facebook-based photo competition focusing on a different healthy activity each month. The theme for December is “What Puts a Smile on Your Face?” The deadline for submissions is Dec. 31. The prize package is courtesy of the Biltmore House and Gardens.
Suggestions for this month’s photo submissions include depictions of a friend or family member, an activity such as volunteering or playing a sport, or a person’s job.

The free competition is open to South Carolina residents ages 18 or older. Participants shoot a “selfie” or have a friend photograph them performing the wellness activity of the month. There are three ways to submit: upload to the entrant’s personal Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account using #livelifebluesc, upload directly to the LiveLifeBlue contest on Facebook, or Email to LiveLifeBlue@bcbssc.com.
Past monthly winners have received VIP packages donated from the Peace Center for the Performing Arts in Greenville, the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, the Columbia Museum of Art, the South Carolina Jazz Festival in Cheraw, the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden in Columbia, and BMW Manufacturing’s Ultimate Driving Weekend in Greer.
